Wednesday MM

Good Morning!

Check out this useful blog by our friend Emory.

Please be on time this afternoon to the Meeting/Celebration for our faculty and staff.

Yesterday at the Cook-Brunson Meeting we changed gears. The Magnet component is now a consideration for Brunson only and the proposed K-2 split from our campus has been scrapped. I will be in contact with the Central Office staff today to determine our next steps.

I wanted to express my appreciation for our staff and parental support at these last two meetings. We listened and were receptive to each and every person's thought process, even when they were directed with antipathy toward Brunson. I am proud to be working here with all of you and will continue to ensure that the best parts of this school, THE PEOPLE, are enabled and encouraged to persevere.

"People are always blaming their circumstances for what they are. I don't believe in circumstances. The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for the circumstances they want, and, if they can't find them, make them." ~G.B. Shaw, Mrs. Warren's Profession, 1893
