I trust everyone had a restful and enjoyable Thanksgiving Holiday. This next three week stretch is critical in our learning process as we remain focused on academics before the long two week winter break.
I am excited to share the news that we have school board approval to begin the 2011-2012 school year as a STEM Magnet School. We are working hard on the details and are planning to present them on December 9th. That evening we will have our Winter PTA Musical event, "Holiday Lights, Holiday Nights!" This presentation by all our 4th and 5th grade students will be directed by our new Music teacher, Mary-Lauren Burrell. Please plan on attending this entertaining and informational evening. We will begin with the unveiling of the Magnet plan at 6:00 and begin the musical performance at 6:20.
