October 24th

We have a short week as this Friday, October 29th is a teacher workday.  The state has a provision to allow this day for teachers to have the opportunity to work on their grades and prepare reports for each family.  The fruits of their labors will be delivered to you in the Tuesday Packet on November 9th.  Please review the report cards with your students and strive for improvement.

Our Quarter assessments are taking place in the morning this week.  As always, please do your part to get students to school on time and in good spirits.

Looking Back, THANK YOU for a fantastic International Night and Parade of Nations.  The PTA was a reality as Parents and Teachers worked in harmony to provide and outstanding evening for all.  Here are a picture to share the joy.  We will have many more posted here at School in the coming weeks.  Come by and visit!

Looking ahead, our End-of-Quarter PBIS celebration will be November 5th.  All student's who were caught by a cat-catcher doing the right thing will be invited to celebrate their positive behavior.  Our annual Mix-It-Up day is coming on November 10th.  This national event was started by Tolerance.org and has helped us provide a tool to honor our diversity.  Last year we were recognized as a
Model school for our efforts.  check out the article at
