Friday October 1st

I hope your students felt as good about this week as I did.  Even with the Rain hampering our outside activities, we were nourished by the exceptional efforts of our staff and their dedication to your children.

We had an outstanding turnout for the WatchDOGS pizza night and so appreciate all the Dads who are scheduled to make a difference in the lives of children.

We also were thrilled to have the Open Dream ensemble present "Peril on the Red Planet" for all of our 2nd - 5th grade students.  Ask your son/daughter about their thoughts on this amazing touring production.  Here is a link to the website for more info.  Open Dream Ensemble

This coming week we are hosting master teacher, Isabel Kussin, from our publisher of the new literacy program Imagine It.  She will teach Model lessons in our classrooms, and debrief  our teachers on the points of the lesson where students can maximize their learning.  We love this collaborative effort to help us implement the program with fidelity.

We are also beginning to gear up for the PTA rummage Sale on October 15-16.  Look to the Brunson PTA website for more details. Link - PTA

Gotta run for today as we have a weekend of Soccer and a production at the UNCSA.  As always, come by the school and visit to see the action first hand.
