I was so thankful for the multiple displays of leadership from our amazing staff at yesterday's meeting. You all express that skill so well with our students and they are fortunate to have such caring, competent and collaborative educators.
The United Way campaign begins today! Now more than ever we need to offer our support for those who are in need.
Please let me know if you are able to join us at the new teacher/buddy dinner tonight. Try to arrive around 6 pm so we can prepare the food for a 6:30 dinner-time.
Big Sweep is Friday and the PTA rummage sale and family picnic is Saturday. I had no replies as to the desire for a teacher "preview sale" on Friday.
We have a new sub custodian that will necessitate an adjustment to the cleaning schedule. Netta Gaither will assume responsibility for the mobile units, Mr Guerra switches to the 2-3 hall, Mr Sawyer is upstairs and Mrs Crews is on the K-1 hall. We should see an immediate increase in the service to our classrooms and common areas. If there are issues please see the custodian responsible for your room. When that does not result in the proper level of service, find Andy or me for more assistance.
