We have expanded our Wake Forest Student "interns" to eight students. Thanks to everybody who has replied with an offer of leadership. I will post a Blog with the students names and class assignments later this morning.
At our next Staff meeting we will have Joel Mayo from Colonial Life. He will explain our WSFCS supplemental insurance options. The beginning of the staff meeting will be SIT TEAM work led by Tanya Lovin.
Karon and the K-2 DIBELS team will be rolling out the fantastic new assessment tool today and early next week during common planning. I have already heard from some 3-5 teachers about the NC WISE grade book and some tweaks we need to make. Please see me today or drop me a note if you have any suggestions or thoughts.
Enjoy your weekend and remember to be prepared for our Curriculum nights on Monday for grades K-2 and 4th. Tuesday night is only 3rd and 5th. Each meeting will begin at 6 pm in the gym. we will dismiss to classrooms at 6:10 and the expectation is to inform parents as a group and end the meeting between 6:45 and 7:00. I will encourage those parents with specific concerns to make and appointment rather than dominate the evening.
