As we come down to the end of our AMAZING school year, we want to remind you that each and every day here at Brunson is valuable. We choose to create a culture and climate where all teachers and students will enjoy the new learning opportunities through our last day to be together, June 14th.
End of Grade Testing for Grades 3-5 will begin on May 23rd with the 5th grade taking the Science Test. The Reading portion for grades 3-5 is on Tuesday the 24th. Math is split into two days, calculator active on Wednesday the 25th, and calculator in-active on Thursday the 26th. After the tests are scored we hope to release results on Tuesday May 31st.
PLEASE encourage your students to do their best on these summative assessments of their learning. As always, get a good nights rest and arrive at school on-time or early to build their confidence.
I want to share a couple of additional important dates.
June 2nd, 6:00 - 7:15
HAG curriculum night. On this evening we ask all HAG families to meet in the gym for a general meeting, followed by presentations from each grade level to the rising class.
June 10th, 8:45 - 10:00
5th Grade celebration ceremony in the Gym. Join us as we recognize our "seniors" for their efforts in the elementary years.
June 13th, 8:45 - 1:30
FIELD DAY. This is our culminating Mix-It-Up day and highly anticipated for all our students.
Again thanks for your support and we look forward to making each day a masterpiece for you and your children.
