Each teacher will be paid $500 for participation in the summer event (Aug. 2-7 at UNC-G’s Gateway Research Park), and for testing the modules in their classroom during the 2010-11 school year. Certificates of participation for CEU credit will be awarded. Priority will be given to applicants from Tier 1 or Tier 2 counties as designated by the NC Department of Commerce.
