Data from Survey & Other stuff

The goal of having data available for viewing on Tuesday is delayed. I will work on it some in the morning and hope to have some things data to share by noon. I attended a Title One meeting this afternoon and also gave a tour of the building to our guests from CERTL. Their Summer camp will be held here beginning June 21st, and run until July 2nd.

We did have 58 responses to the survey and believe we can glean some data to focus our efforts for the best interest of the students here at Brunson.

THE OTHER STUFF - Here are two items of interest. The First, in italics, is for all our residential teachers who have ESL students as a majority of their class. The second, in bold, is an opportunity for some STEM specific training over the summer.

From Rosie Turner, Elementary SIOP Instructional Coach
Summer SIOP Training. I talked to David and he agreed to let me add another 3 morning workshop so that you can send your staff.

If you will choose one of the workshop dates to send all of your staff to we can ask for the participant number to be increased and make those dates exclusively available to Brunson. Then if you have anyone who just can't make it, they can come one of the other workshops (we will separate a resource pack for your school - and you can later choose to provide those items for your teachers or make them available to your staff through the media center).

Here are the dates for the trainings:

First Workshop: June 29-July 1
Second Workshop: July 13-15
Third Workshop: July 20-22

All of the Workshops will be from 8-1 with several breaks.

Let me know which dates you prefer at your earliest convenience and I will make the necessary adjustment. Rosie!
Begin the conversation and we will pick a Brusnon specific date for Summer SIOP training.
