Work update

The following text is taken from the Employee handbook on Page four (click to link to the page)

If school is closed early, the day will be considered a student day and will not be made up. All employees will be expected to work; however, principals and supervisors will be advised if an early dismissal for weather is warranted.

What does this mean for us? Employees are allowed one hour leave on the day before the holiday if it does not impact supervision of students. So take your official end time and back it up an hour. That is the appropriate time to leave. The provision, principals and supervisors will be advised if an early dismissal for weather is warranted, will be communicated over the intercom when we receive word from the central office.
