Good Morning!
Snaps to the power of ten for the wonderful sharing at yesterday's faculty meeting. The First Grade team wowed us with their technological expertise, utilized to teach students through similarities and differences. Betty made me want to be a student again as she continued to reinforce the skill through music. The Third grade team of Brie and Linnea have focused on summarizing and note taking. I felt the power of scaffolding as they explained how they use the skills learned through the K-2 retell, and build upon them to further their students learning. Thanks again for all who shared, and those who listened. I Look forward to our next meeting on March 4th, when we can learn from three more of our Professional Learning Communities.
We have a tour today at 12:30, and we also host the IRA group tonight at 6:30.
